International Childrens Film Forum (ICFF)

International Children Film Forum or ICFF in short is the first ever Forum of its kind in the private sector in India. It is again an initiative of Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios-A Creative Enterprise. ICFF functions from within the Asian Academy of Films and Television campus. This Forum believes that moving picture would play a significant role in shaping the mind, body and character of younger children and that films for children should be informational, educational as well as entertaining. The organization gets support from Marwah Studios-A Creative Enterprise. The Film Forum now operates as the region's first and only non-profit center for the film arts and especially for children films. Our selected cinemas showcase the best in the international children cinema, as well as renowned national films made for children.

The Film Forum programs a true cinematheque, embracing film production as well as film exhibition. Recently Radio NOIDA 107.4FM, a unit of Marwah Studios, and ICFF has joined hands to get into community service either by community broadcasting by Radio NOIDA 107.4FM or screening children’s films in villages and slums through International Children’s Film Forum.

Moreover ICFF works with the several school children and imparts the various nuances of filmmaking. In this segment of film making the school students get a chance to understand the value of visual media, and use this medium not only to express themselves but also to uplift the society through better cinema. Later these films are showcased as part of any Film fest and each and every director is given a chance to interact with the huge gathering at the screening center. On the closing ceremony all these young directors are awarded with certificates by none other than Sandeep Marwah.

ICFF has also recently started screening programs in NOIDA villages and slums where some of the good cinema is projected to the children of those villages to promote good habits, education, general health and hygiene. The coordination of the above program is taken care by a voluntary organization of students of Asian Academy of Film and Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School named YES the acronym for Young Energetic Society.
